The Future of Wireless Presentations Arrives As NewSoft Introduces WMS 100 Image
Presenters Gain Unprecedented Mobility During Their Presentations

HANNOVER, GERMANY (March 9, 2006) – NewSoft, a leading provider of business and consumer image, video, DVD, and WLAN software, ushered in a new era in corporate presentations today as it introduced the new WMS 100 Image, a wireless multimedia system from Booth C1, Stand B16, Hall 22 of USA PC, Components & Peripherals Pavilion at CeBIT 2006. With innovative wireless broadcasting capability, it has already received acclaim due to its innovation in enabling presenters to have unprecedented mobility during their corporate meetings.

A total solution together with its sending software – Presto! WMS – it is the first solution in the company's newest line of wireless home/office solutions. WMS 100 Image offers wireless broadcast technology that enables enterprise users to share screen-captured images, graphics and image content at 15 frame-per-second in real-time through either Ethernet or WLAN transmission.

"We view the receipt of this award as industry validation of our commitment to enhancing mobile video technology and to empowering people to view their content when they want, where they want, and at a price that is consumer-friendly," said James Li, President of NewSoft. "We strive to provide high quality products that everyone can use, regardless of their prior experience with technology."

The WMS 100 Image receiver implements the latest Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g technology to provide users with the freedom to broadcast screen-captured images from any Wi-Fi enabled PC or notebook, to multiple VGA /XVGA projectors incorporating hardware Wi-Fi receiver adapters. NewSoft's high performance algorithm detects the differential regions of the screen resulting in the system’s ability to present content at 15 frames per second on average for 11a/g. As a result, users can wirelessly share oversized image files, even PowerPoint files with embedded animation, in real-time.

WMS 100 Image users can easily search available receiver adapters via the channel scanning method and communication protocol without worrying about wireless parameters and settings. Ideal for school and corporate presentations, NewSoft's WMS 100 Image is easy to set-up, enabling users to configure a wireless environment in just a few steps.

Installed on the PC or notebook, multiple adapters can then receive the same transmission content simultaneously. The presenter can then choose to broadcast their content to one or many destinations with a single click. To ensure transmission security, WMS 100 Image provides standard WEP encryption/decryption, enabling users to set their own passwords and prevent unauthorized access to the wireless network.

Press and attendees at this year's CeBIT can see NewSoft's WMS 100 Image at Booth C1, Stand B16, in Hall 22 of the USA PC, Components & Peripherals Pavilion during the CeBIT 2006, March 9-15, 2006 in Hannover, Germany.
